Things your divorce lawyer wants you to know about California community property laws, before you get married. (4/4)
For those who did not get a Premarital Agreement before the wedding, you can always get a Post nuptial Agreement and handle all of the same issues. The Agreement will have a detailed list of the joint and separate assets and debts of the parties, clarify the rights of each party to separate property real estate and/or businesses, and put everyone at ease as to their rights and expectations, which would conceivably make your relationship stronger.
Solution: Post Nuptial Agreement.
